Gardner Museum security chief, Anthony Amore along with the FBI’s lead agent in the Gardner Heist investigation, Special Agent Geoff Kelly met with a storied and respected reporter of the Gardner robbery, former Boston Herald reporter and editor Tom Mashberg, now working for the out of town but nationally influential New York Times. “Investigators were anticipating a wave of interest, and possible criticism, on the eve of the robbery’s 25th anniversary,” Mashberg revealed.
